PDM and CAD software company, third largest of its kind, is seeking to build its focus on sales of CAE/FEA software! Products are software solutions aimed at product manufacturers. Products help companies to improve their product design, durability, and time to market. This position is a uniquely blended role of Application Engineer and Sales. This newly formed role, focusing solely on CAE is important for company growth! Company is offering excellent Blue Cross Blue Shield benefits, and a competitive salary. Salary is Dependent on Experience, but base will be 85% of the salary and commissions will be 15%. The position of Computer Aided Engineering/Simulation Technical Specialist will serve as technical expert, providing support to the rest of the sales team, as well as prospecting for new customers. This role involves meeting with client prospects to explain the benefits and capabilities of CAE software. Main duties of this role are to perform onsite consulting, present technical demonstrations, give pre-sales support, provide technical training for users, and offer post-sales support…as well as assuming some responsibility for developing a sales pipeline.
Qualifications Required:
Must have excellent knowledge of CAE/Simulation/Finite Element Analysis software. Helpful experience includes thermal analysis, frequency, optimization, kinematics, flow analysis, and drop test analysis.
This is a customer facing role; excellent communication, PowerPoint, and presentation skills are necessary. The ability to provide software demonstrations and explain technical material is essential.
