Job Description

A company that specializes in engineered electrical components seeks a Java Web Developer. Company provides electrical components to a variety of industries including, aerospace, defense, medical, alternative energy, and consumer goods. This is an opportunity to work with a well diversified and therefore stable company, as well as a leader in the electronics industry.

Description: Position is Contract to hire. First six months are expected to be contract. This role will be responsible for Java solutions for an Engineering Portal. Position will work with a Senior Developer to help enhance the specific application.

Qualifications Required

* Seeking 5 or more years of experience in Java Web Development
* Individual should have strong problem solving abilities and be focused on using logic and reasoning to obtain results
* Strong communication skills are required, needs to have a strong customer focus, as well as the ability to work with a team.
* Proficiency with the following are preferred: Struts, Springs, JSF, JDBC, RichFaces, SVN, and myEclipse
* Having an understanding of TEIS methodology is considered highly advantageous.
