Summary
Will help deliver powerful and exciting PLM software solutions to product engineering and manufacturing customers. Engineers will analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. They will consult with other engineers on staff to evaluate operational and performance requirements of overall system and will be engaged in software development, bug fixing and customer specification application development (i.e. the full software development lifecycle). Will have strong customer interfacing and maybe required to work after normal business hours with customers. Job Description

Qualifications (technical skills needed): 2-4 years development with Java 2-4 years using JSP, J2EE 2+ years software development including: requirements analysis, functional specifications, design specifications, OO implementation, testing, validation, installation. Experience with full software development lifecycle and best practices methodologies 4 year bachelor's degree in CS, CIS or related discipline
Soft Skills Needed: Experience with customer interfacing including delivering strong customer service Multi-tasking (will be working with a few different customer systems) Ability to explain complex problems to non-technical users Strong analytical skills Ability to convey issues and document them appropriately
Desired Skills: Technical experience a plus in any of the following platforms: Windows, Unix, Eclipse, WebLogic, Oracle. Strong verbal and written communications Motivated self-starting professional with high integrity, honesty and self confidence Understanding of product development (within medical device is a major plus) Strong team, interpersonal and client-facing consulting skills Experience in working with complex systems in various customer environments
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A) from four year college or university; or 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
