Summary
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Leads business strategy, process analysis, and requirements gathering. Guides customer in defining and fulfilling business requirements with a high degree of user acceptance and customer satisfaction. Recommends alternatives and enhancements for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) procedures and implementations to improve quality. This position requires prior project management experience. Job responsibilities
Responsibilities: (note this is just a highlight of responsibilities) General Project Management Review project proposals to determine approach, time frame, funding limitations, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Report project status to operations management and clients. Project status includes schedule, budget, risks and issues, resource concerns and needs, client business opportunities and scope deviations
1. Business Consulting Conduct Need Assessment Process Evaluation (NAPE) on-site at customer developing AS-IS, Swimlane, and business process diagrams. Map Integware deliverables and process to customer deliverables and process. Define functional requirements from business requirements. Develop use cases.
2. Technical Implementation Management Provide technical leadership to implementation teams to build solutions that meet customer requirements. Have high level of comfort in managing the full solution considering data, architecture, implementation, and requirements Ensure coverage of all deliverables; tool implementation, data migration, QA, governmental regulations and architecture through peer review and leverage of existing plans and solutions. Plan and execute Conference Room Pilots (CRP's) including logistical needs for large group coordination of internal and customer resources.
3. Internal Development Review internal processes and recommend quality improvements for achieving business objectives, user acceptance, performance, reliability and maintainability Mentor team members on an established path of increasing capability
4. Business Development Understand customer needs and internal relationships to identify new business opportunities within client engagement. Provide input on proposed project cost estimations. Contribute to creation of customer engagement proposals, including Statement of Works and Change Orders Keep up with industry trends and competitive environment to strengthen Integware's position as a strategic partner with customer Experience Required
Requirements: 5-8 years of external, customer facing project management experience Prior experience with providing services to customers and software project management Outstanding organizational, communication and leadership skills. Ability to work with a variety of internal departments to ensure expectations are set and achieved Experience with ensuring all projects come in on time and on budget Proven ability to deliver superior customer service and satisfaction Strong Microsoft Excel and Project skills Experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), medical device or life sciences is a plus
Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or business. MBA is a plus. PMP certification is a plus
