This is an opportunity for a PLM Solutions Manager with a strong project management and technical background to join an organisation which has achieved triple-digit growth over the last 5 years and looks set to dwarf this in the future. Job Description
As PLM Solutions Manager you will be responsible and accountable for technical design and quality assurance of the PLM solution implementation and the global support, enhancement and stable operations of the PLM solution post go-live. As a member of the core PLM Programme team, you will provide technical leadership, influencing the design of both the technology and business processes. Job responsibilities
This position has a number of areas of responsibility covering:
- Technical Leadership (Managing the translation of business requirements and processes in to technical specifications).
- Technical Quality Assurance (ensuring technical design is robust, scalable and to quality).
- Change Management (Core member of the Change Control Board, actively managing and scheduling changes within the IT PLM strategic team).
- Business Analysis (responsible for PLM related process re-engineering).
- Support (establishing and managing the PLM global operational support processes).
- Team Management (line management responsibility and management of 3rd party relationships).
Experience Required
Required experience includes:
- Deep technical and delivery knowledge of MatrixOne, Teamcenter 2007 or Oracle Agile 9
- Strong PLM Project Management experience
- Good planning and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, the ability to communicate complex ideas simply
- Good understanding and experience of PLM business processes
- Excellent Business Analysis skills with a track record of process re-engineering and system design
- Change Management experience
