Summary

Job Description

Application support for Tc Engineering product.
Installation, configuration, customization and deployment of Tc Engineering
product at customer sites as needed.
Understand and analyze customer requirements, determine the enhancements,
customizations required to OTB product – may require doing customization
(server and client side), creating workflows, administering the tool.
Discuss and refine the design under guidance of project manager, customer and
Solution architect.
Implement design including all code writing, testing and TC Engineering
configuration.
Customization of software requires a good understanding of computer science
principles including OO, C++, Java and database.
30% to 80% travel required.

Job responsibilities

Prerequisites and Essential Functions:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial

• Engineering (or equivalent experience).

• Excellent customer facing demeanor, presentation, analytical and customer
support skills required. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and
skills required.

• 2 to 5 years of TC Engineering experience with CAD data managers (Catia V4,
Catia V5, NX, ProE, I-deas) and Multi site deployments.

• Understanding of PDM concepts - change control, part numbering, lifecycles,
product configuration, options and variants, document management, security etc.

• Familiarity with business process mapping to PLM system configuration.

• Experience with Product Data Management/Product Lifecycle Management
(PDM/PLM) principles and systems. (eg. Smartteam, Enovia, Teamcenter)

• Familiarity with basic UNIX and Windows operating system commands, experience in Oracle or other Database installation, configuration and administration,

• Proficient in C, C++, Java programming language experience, knowledge of ITK
programming conventions, experience in defining a company’s data and process
models in any PDM system, preferably Teamcenter Engineering.
